This session covers the differences in the anatomy of skin of color. It’s more than just melanin.  
 
  • Find out the most common skin disorders. They present themselves differently in darker skin types than in lighter skin types. Learn how to prevent your client from having an adverse reaction. 
  •  Within our American culture are subsets of ethnic diversity that have their own cultural and dietary traditions. Your awareness of these customs can help you perform a better consultation and create a stronger treatment plan. 
  • Get insight into how to conduct a thorough skin care consultation.  
  • Learn treatments and how to best perform those treatments on skin of color. 
  • Make an impact on your client’s skin with home skin care recommendations that are effective on ethnic skin. 
  • Skin of color has been ignored or forgotten for too long. We want to validate the success of entrepreneurs of color.
